My name is Aneth Kon and I am an Arabic Collective Care Specialist at Treetops Collective. I came to the United States in 2004 as a refugee from Sudan. My family and I first lived in Grand Rapids for 5 years, and moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 2009. I used to work as a Radiology Assistant at Memorial Hospital, until we moved back to Grand Rapids in 2019.
In 2022, I started attending GRCC to pursue an associates degree in Human Services and Social Science.
I love to help people and I volunteer in my free time at my children’s school.
My biggest passion is being of service to others, whether it is cooking at a gathering and trying out new recipes for others to enjoy or just being supportive to loved ones.
I also work as a caregiver with Carelinx, I enjoy meeting new people and getting to know my clients on a personal level. Nothing makes me happier than putting a smile on their faces.
