#SPREADWELCOME

Welcoming Refugees is Everyone's Work

We couldn't do this work without our community! Whether a donor, shop customer, advocate, or volunteer — everyone plays an equal part in spreading welcome and investing in the leadership development of refugee women and teen girls. Look at the current ways you can get involved with Treetops or email us at volunteer@treetopscollective.org for more information.

VOLUNTEER

Volunteers

Treetops relies on volunteers for all kinds of things: transportation, childcare, cafe and shop host, building management, and more. Create a volunteer profile and view our current needs.

CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteer Orientation

All Treetops volunteers are required to participate in an orientation to better understand our program and community. There are typically several virtual and in-person options every month.

REGISTER

Groups & Corporate

Connect with us to volunteer together with your group from work, school, place of worship, or family. There are many options, but we'd also love to hear your ideas, too!

CONTACT US
Become a Cross-Cultural Partner

Cross-Cultural Partners (CCPs) walk alongside New American women as friends and allies, meeting for 4 hours a month for a year through the lens of care and support. Through Treetops-sponsored outings and regular connection, authentic and mutually beneficial relationships form.

ADVOCACY & LEARNING

Book Club

Say No to the Single Story is the theme of our Treetops Book Club. Once per quarter we read a book about the New American experience and meet to discuss. A full list of all the titles we've read with discussion questions can be found here.

WHAT WE'RE READING

Supper Club

Treetops staff, family, and friends support a different immigrant-owned restaurant each month! The schedule is posted on our community calendar and on Facebook, but no need to wait for us! Visit one of these fantastic eateries on our list anytime.

Events

Not only does Treetops host many different cultural and educational events, trainings and workshops, but you'll find no shortage of fun things to do that support refugee and immigrant communities in West Michigan.
