Meet Tamara
Tamara Gurley is the Community Engagement Director at Treetops Collective. She steps into this role with a deep sense of calling—to invest in the city that has shaped her, and to pour into its communities, its advocates, and its future. For Tamara, West Michigan has long been a place of faith, hope, and transformation—a place she has walked as a leader, a learner, and a dreamer, believing in its potential to continually become a truer reflection of love and justice.
At Treetops, Tamara will lead the Building & Events, Communications, and Development teams, helping nurture spaces where the wider community can connect with our work in meaningful ways. Her leadership is grounded in the belief that belonging is more than a feeling—it’s the foundation of thriving communities. Through storytelling, hospitality, and sustained investment in people and place, Tamara brings both vision and warmth to this transformative work.
Tamara is most at peace watching Lake Michigan sunsets and most alive when fostering spaces where others feel welcome and at home.
