Meet Samir

Samir is a Fulbright scholar and holds an MA degree in International Development Administration from Western Michigan University. Samir has professional experience in humanitarian and development program planning, administration, and implementation that spans over a decade. He is currently working as case manager and technology resource developer with Bethany Christian Services. Like many Treetops staff and program members, Samir is multilingual and communicates fluently in Pashto, Dari/Farsi, Urdu, and English. For his years of professional and volunteer service, Samir has been awarded the highest civil services medal in his home country of Afghanistan. He is highly motivated to contribute to the efforts targeted toward development and responding to the humanitarian challenges of our time.
