Meet Divine

Divine is a Concentric Leader for Swahili with the 2025-2026 cohort.

Divine came to the United States in 2019 as a refugee from Burundi. Her family and her migrated in Albany,New York. She lived in New York for 2 years, attended some high schools in New York and graduated from there. After she moved to Michigan started her college career which was Business Administration and management on her second year, she got married.

Divine is a mother of one son. She is so passionate about helping others. The time she got here, she met Charles  who helped her to get connected, get assistance with her school.Helping others feels like she is giving back something to the community which the main reasons why she is an interpreter for Swahili and Kinyarwanda and applied to work as a concentric leader for Swahili community at treetop’s 

She enjoys spending time with her family, watch movies, play games with her son.
