Meet Dalia

Meet Dalia!

Dalia joins Treetops Collective as the Education Development and Resource Navigation intern. She is a proud American-born Mexican, shaped by the strength and resilience of her immigrant parents. Dalia graduated from Grand Valley State University in April 2025 with a graduate-level degree in Social Innovation, where she focused on designing equitable systems and human-centered solutions.

Dalia brings to Treetops Collective not only her professional background in legal services but also a deep personal commitment to academic advocacy. Her work is driven by a passion for uplifting immigrant and refugee communities while recognizing the layered realities they face, particularly at the intersections of disability, gender, and nationality. She believes true belonging is only possible when we acknowledge and address these complexities in meaningful, human-centered ways. Dalia is passionate about cultivating welcoming spaces and helping immigrant and refugee communities navigate resources, education, and opportunity with dignity and support.

When she is not contributing her time to advocacy and service, Dalia enjoys spending quality time with her family and participating in faith-based events that nourish her spirit and keep her grounded in community.
