Treetops Collective Celebrates Brilliance Award Nomination for Executive Director & Cofounder Tarah Carnahan
Treetops Collective proudly celebrates the nomination of Executive Director & Cofounder, Tarah Carnahan, for the Brilliance Award in the Social Change Agent category. This recognition reflects not only her direction and vision, but also the strength, resilience, and commitment of the women and community members who shape Treetops every day.
The Brilliance Awards honor change agents advancing opportunity, equity, and meaningful impact. At Treetops, that work is rooted in radical welcome and belonging. Through culturally responsive programming, personal development, and economic opportunity initiatives, Treetops walks alongside immigrant and refugee women as they build stability, confidence, and thriving futures for themselves and their families.
In 2026, more than 50 women and teens will complete Concentric, Treetops’ flagship program, multiplying the reach of women’s influence throughout our community.
In this broader moment of expanding visibility for women’s leadership, this nomination reflects the kind of integrity-centered vision and disciplined execution that strengthens organizations and communities alike.
Under Tarah’s direction, Treetops has deepened its influence and expanded its reach — strengthening partnerships, investing in staff and participant growth, and building systems for sustainable progress. While this nomination recognizes our executive leadership, it ultimately reflects the women we serve and the broader community that makes this work possible.
We are proud to see this work acknowledged on a broader stage. This recognition serves as both celebration and invitation — an opportunity for the broader community to engage in the ongoing work of building belonging and expanding opportunity.
