Born and raised in the Midwest, Jamee studied social work at Indiana Wesleyan University before completing a Masters in Counseling at Cornerstone University. She is also a certified professional coach through Lark’s Song, an educational non-profit. Jamee connected with Treetops through Mars Hill Church and fell in love with the mission to connect refugee women to their new community in Grand Rapids. Serving as Treetops' Volunteer Coordinator allows Jamee to utilize her passion for connecting with people and tapping into their unique strengths and skills. She is constantly encouraged by Treetops’ volunteers who are committed to making Grand Rapids a more welcoming community and loves being a part of this positive change.
